Hourly Rate: $20.91/hr

Status: Seasonal, Full-Time hours

Start: November- Beginning of March

Shifts: 12-hour, overnight shifts

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

The Snowmaking department is primarily responsible for providing the snow base for the timely opening and operation of the Resort’s skiable terrain for the ultimate ski and snowboard experience.

• All duties of a Maintenance Worker I, Snowmaking
• Monitor snowmaking equipment: starting/stopping of pumps, air compressors and snow guns.
• Monitoring control center, updating and making changes as necessary.
• Perform preventative maintenance work on the snowmaking system.
• Assist with leak repairs in season
• Installing new hydrant locations
• Adjusting snow guns.
• Trouble Shoot electrical and mechanical issues.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Prior heavy equipment experience preferred.
• Previous welding and fitting experience an asset
• Past experience with operation of a snowmobile preferred.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Must be over the age of 18 with a valid class “G” driver’s license with satisfactory driver abstract
• Ability to work independently
• Prepared to work in all outdoor conditions
• Must be detail oriented and safety conscious
