What You’ll Do:

  • Drive Technical Innovation: Work closely with engineers and technical leaders to refine and simplify architectural designs for a scalable cloud platform.
  • Architect Scalable Cloud Solutions: Make key decisions on cloud architecture, characteristics, and scaling services to support the future of our platform.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with product managers, product owners, and stakeholders to identify challenges, explore solutions, and prioritize effectively.
  • Optimize Workflows: Identify gaps, design new workflows, and build efficient solutions to support evolving product requirements.
  • Deliver High-Quality Code: Develop software artifacts and ensure production-ready code that drives our products forward.
  • Gather and Provide Feedback: Proactively solicit input from a diverse range of stakeholders and provide constructive feedback to fellow team members.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Experience: 6+ years in software development (SpringBoot, SpringCloud).
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of software engineering principles and proven experience in refining strategies to enhance development processes.
  • Cloud Architecture Knowledge: Experience building cloud-agnostic SaaS products and a solid understanding of microservices architectures, with hands-on knowledge in Kubernetes, OpenStack, GCP, and AWS.
  • Proficiency in Key Technologies: Skilled in Java, Spring Boot microservices, and containerized deployments within the Kubernetes ecosystem.
  • API & Service Design: Deep knowledge of building high-performing APIs/services leveraging message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, NATS) and caching solutions (Redis, Memcached).
  • Scalability & Performance Optimization: Experience building systems that scale to support millions of users on cloud platforms (Private Cloud, GCP, AWS, Azure).
  • Authentication Expertise: Familiarity with OAuth, OpenID, and SAML-based authentication (a plus).
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex concepts and effectively collaborate across geographically diverse teams.

Our salary ranges consider a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. This position’s expected total compensation (base salary and commission range) is $140,000.00-$180,000.00

The candidate will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company’s Incentive Plan. Candidates starting with the Company will be eligible for eleven paid holidays in a full calendar year, two weeks of paid vacation (prorated based on start date), as well as other leave options.
