Position Summary:
STARPLUS ENERGY LLC is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to join our accounting team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the operational and administrative functions essential to the success of the payroll process. The ideal candidate will possess organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for contributing to sustainable accounting practices. This position reports to the Accounting Director.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Control and process the payroll with its various types: salary and non-salary, including special events such as bonus, retroactivities, overtime and others as required
- Ensure payroll process is in accordance with company policies
- Supervise the current package of benefits of unionized and employed personnel is complied with the conditions established by law and internal policies
- Coordinate with the Human Resources department, so that any modification in regard to benefits or salary is implemented by the established dates and reflected properly in payroll process
- Manage hourly time-keeping system and employee payroll information
- Assist in payroll tax filing and month-end close
- Generate payroll reports for review and approval
- Resolve and neutralize any contingencies that endanger the timely operation of the payroll
- Maintain internal controls over the payroll process
- Record retention related to payroll and employee information
- Conduct random regular audits on payroll information
- Perform other position related duties as assigned
Basic:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as required
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and multi-task
- Demonstrate teamwork and team building skills
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Access, or other database applications
- Knowledge of SAP is beneficial
- Conflict management skills
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- While travel is unlikely, the ideal candidate will be able to travel, with reasonable prior notice as required (domestic and/or international)

Preferred:
- Bilingual English / Korean
- Master of Business Administration
- Experience in continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing
- Ability and desire to identify opportunities for process improvements, and the drive to enact change

- Ability to operate basic office equipment
- Ability to work in front of a computer for extended periods of time
- Ability to wear appropriate PPE as deemed essential for the job function
