  • Inspect, troubleshoot and maintain various guestrooms, common areas, and mechanical equipment systems throughout the property. Areas of focus include but not limited to; water distribution, fire detection, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, plumbing, landscaping and swimming pool maintenance
  • Perform tasks and lead all aspects of work related to preventive maintenance projects including scheduling, generating daily assignments and progress reports
  • Monitor, maintain and test Emergency and Life Safety systems as needed to align with local regulatory codes
  • Maintains an accurate inventory of operating supplies and ensures that proper purchasing procedures are followed to maintain an adequate supply. Ensures all assets of the department, equipment, supplies and storage are properly locked and secured
  • Trains, supervises, schedules and assists in evaluating Team Members
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

  • 3+ years of property/facilities maintenance related experience
  • 2+ years supervising team members
  • Experience in various maintenance trades (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Construction, Painting, Landscaping) and use of various tools and equipment
  • Ability to empower, develop, and engage staff in a positive manner that produces business results
  • Problem solving, analytical and conceptual skills, including the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines within a small team environment
  • Strong written and oral interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build and maintain productive working relationships and negotiate with a range of internal and external clients
  • High School Diploma or GED
