Compensation Range:
Anticipated Base compensation rate is in the range of $23.00 – $25.80 / Hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Expectations:
Processes and prepares equipment and supplies for patient care use. Maintains DME, crash carts, special procedure carts, orders specialty beds and wound vacs. Responds to requests in timely manner. Responsible for instrument processing techniques to include checking the functionality and quality of the instrument. Performs cleaning, decontamination, assembly, sterilization and distribution of instruments and equipment. This position requires flexibility of hours.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED. equivalency.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Minimum 1 year experience in Sterile Processing, surgical instrumentation and equipment preferred.
Successful completion of a 400 hours Sterile Processing course or Surgical Technology course required.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
Current certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) issued by Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) or current Certified Surgical Technologist Certification issued by Association of Surgical Technologists (AST).
SKILLS:
Knowledge of Surgical instrumentation, High Level Disinfection, steam & low temp sterilization and patient care equipment processes required.
