Responsibilities:
- Drive a transit bus and transport passengers safely, timely and efficiently.
- Greet passengers, accept fare payment, and maintain a safe environment.
- Properly report all incidents, accidents, mechanical concerns
- Other duties as required to ensure a safe and courteous ride for our passengers.
Physical requirements include the ability to:
- Sit for extended periods of time.
- Drive in traffic and in all weather conditions
- Lift, push, pull, and carry tools, objects, or equipment above shoulder level without assistance.
- Move up and down stairs easily.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Qualifications:
Be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- A valid drivers’ license in good standing with the ability to obtain a CDL permit.
- Possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Punctual with an emphasis on attendance
