Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed behavioral assessments, including functional analyses, and interpret data to inform treatment decisions.
- Design, implement, and monitor behavior-analytic interventions that address a variety of needs.
- Apply assessment and intervention methods in diverse and novel situations.
- Train staff to carry out effective and ethical interventions grounded in research.
- Submit session documentation, progress reports, and treatment plans in a timely manner.
- Ensure that ABA providers are accurately collecting data following The Learning Tree’s standards.
Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise ABA Paraprofessionals and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to maintain a high level of service delivery.
- Offer direct supervision and individualized support to team members.
- Revise treatment plans based on data trends and continuous assessment results.
- Ensure the accurate and appropriate collection of data by team members.
- Provide face-to-face parent training and participate in treatment planning as necessary.
Qualifications for Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA):
- Must hold BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Possess an active, valid, and unrestricted certification or license to deliver applied behavior analytic services within the state of service.
- Willingness to travel between client locations as needed.
