Summary:
The BCBA is a highly skilled and experienced professional who is responsible for providing behavior analysis services to children and adults with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. The BCBA will work closely with the Clinical Director to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and provide training and support to staff. The BCBA will also be responsible for conducting research and developing new treatment programs.
Responsibilities:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst will provide behavior analysis services to children and adults with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. This includes conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, implementing interventions, and monitoring progress.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. This includes working with the client, family, and other professionals to develop a plan that is tailored to the client’s specific needs.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to staff. This includes collecting data on the client’s progress, reviewing the data with staff, and providing feedback on how to improve the intervention.
- Conduct research and develop new treatment programs. This includes conducting literature reviews, developing and testing new interventions, and disseminating the results of research.
- Supervise and train staff. This includes providing training on behavior analysis principles and techniques, supervising staff as they implement interventions, and providing feedback on their performance.
- Collaborate with other professionals to provide comprehensive care. This includes working with physicians, therapists, educators, and other professionals to ensure that the client receives the best possible care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation. This includes keeping records of client assessments, treatment plans, interventions, and progress.
- Attend professional development activities. This includes attending conferences, workshops, and other professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on the latest research and practices in behavior analysis.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in behavior analysis or a related field.
- Board certification as a BCBA by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
- 3+ years of experience providing behavior analysis services.
- Experience working with children and adults with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Drivers License
