About the Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will design, implement, and oversee Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. Our intention is for the BCBA to transition into a Lead BCBA over the next 12-24 months, and ultimately into a Clinical Director. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience as a BCBA, a strong interest in ABA therapy leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for improving the lives of our clients and their families.

We want you to hit your bonuses! Our pay rates range from $60-$85 per hour for hourly BCBAs, or $70,000-$90,000 for salaried BCBAs.

Key Responsibilities Include

Assessments and Treatment Plans

• Oversee and manage a caseload of clients, ensuring high-quality ABA services.
• Conduct behavioral assessments using applicable tools and observation.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment data and client needs.
• Establish and maintain measurable goals and objectives for clients’ ABA programs.

Implementation and Supervision

• Oversee the implementation of ABA programs by RBTs and other support staff.
• Provide supervision, training, and feedback to RBTs to ensure fidelity to treatment plans.
• Monitor and analyze client progress data, adjusting programs as needed.

Parent and Caregiver Training

• Conduct training sessions for parents and caregivers to generalize skills and strategies used in therapy sessions.

Collaboration and Communication

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical professionals, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educators.
• Maintain open and effective communication with clients, families, and the Horizons team.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant records.
• Prepare and present progress reports for clients and funding sources as required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• Current certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing.
• Minimum of 0-1 year of experience as a BCBA preferred, but not required.
• Strong knowledge of ABA principles and techniques.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

About the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) role:
As a BCBA you will plan, develop and monitor effective treatment using evidence-based treatment methods. You will collaborate with team members, services providers, families, and other agencies as appropriate and provides ongoing training and direct supervision to RBTs. Your work will directly change the lives of individuals with autism and their families.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Responsibilities:

• Conducts ABA program management for children with autism spectrum disorders
• Conduct initial assessments
• Supervise RBTs and conducts training and coaching
• Collaborate with client’s treatment team and families to improve communicative, social, and behavioral outcomes for all clients, including Behavior Technicians, Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and schools
• Facilitate parent training and support families to access community resources
• Conduct supervision in client’s home and through telehealth.

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge and proficiency with a range of clinical approaches to care
• Use professional knowledge and independent judgment to strategize continuous improvements.
• Strong assessment skills and treatment planning expertise
• Good analytical/critical thinking skills with the ability to record, track, and analyze therapy progress
• Must have strong positive communication and interpersonal skills – works well with parents, children and other professionals
• Client focus and strong ability to function as a team member
• Bilingual is a plus

Requirements

• Must be Certified as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the BACB.
• Must be physically able to perform direct and supervision sessions
• Must be able to administer variety of assessments and write treatment plans
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card
• Must be willing to complete or have completed the 8-hour supervisor training through BACB
• Ability to maintain fingerprint clearance card, CPR & First Aid certification
• Must hold a valid drivers’ license and maintain proper current insurance
• Bilingual is a plus

BCBA Requirements:

• Must hold a current BCBA license with BACB and remain in good standing.

• Must be professional, self-motivated and energetic.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must have current basic first aid and CPR.
