TRC Talent Solutions is recruiting a Fixed Assets Associate for one our clients located in Ellabell, GA. This role will be a contract-to-hire opportunity working with one the world’s leading automotive manufacturers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the organization’s fixed assets, including the recording, tracking, and reconciliation of all asset-related transactions.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of fixed asset acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and adjustments in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
Calculate, review, and maintain depreciation schedules for all fixed assets, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting guidelines and tax regulations.
Prepare and analyze fixed assets-related financial reports and statements, providing insights and recommendations to management for decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Accounting, and Operations, to ensure accurate and timely fixed asset accounting and reporting.
Assist in capital expenditure budgeting, monitoring, and reporting processes, providing insights on asset utilization and investment opportunities
Required Skills/Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting requirements related to fixed assets.
Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations related to fixed assets and property taxes, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and guidelines preferred.
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
Proven experience in managing fixed asset records, including acquisition, depreciation, disposal, and reconciliation preferred.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex financial matters to non-finance professionals.
Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing fixed asset records, schedules, and reports preferred.
Proficiency in financial systems and software, including ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Travel Requirement:
Domestic / International travel required.
