Job Title: Part Time Dental Hygienist

Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality dental care, possess excellent communication skills, and be a team player.

Schedule:

• Monday: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Tuesday: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Possibility to add Thursday: 7:00 am to 12:00 pm

Responsibilities:

• Perform dental hygiene procedures including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care.
• Take and develop dental x-rays.
• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Qualifications:

• Valid Dental Hygienist license in Missouri.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for patient care and education.
• Experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.

Minimum Qualifications 

• Current dental hygienist license in MO
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
