Responsibilities
- Responsible for the coordination and implementation of patient care orientation (PCO) for nursing and nursing support staff and nurse externs.
- Responsibility includes the planning, organization and execution of education/training programs as identified through needs assessment, quality improvement initiatives, and implementation of new products and technology.
- Assists in supporting facility-wide operations by consistently and effectively teaching and modeling Hillcrest South’s Behavior and Performance Standards.
- Works collaboratively with the education team on global hospital education initiatives as directed.
- Must be a self-starter with initiative and ability to work independently, as well as coordinate work with colleagues and peers.
- Responsible for assisting in planning, developing, organizing, and facilitating the activities of clinical education to assist Hillcrest South in meeting the requirements of DNV and other federal state and local regulatory accrediting agencies.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Must possess Oklahoma License as a Registered Nurse
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Masters degree of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- 1-3 years of Education Experience in a hospital, academic or other healthcare setting.
- 5-7 years experience in clinical nursing, with experience in OB nursing.
