PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Leverages advanced statistical and computational methodologies to deliver insights and strategic opportunities to improve the quality, patient experience, and cost of healthcare
• Identifies what data is available and relevant, including internal and external data sources, leveraging new data collection processes such as sensors or smart meters, geo-location information and social media
• Integrates, analyzes, and interprets business level data from multiple sources, creates mechanisms for exploring structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data
• Establishes scalable, efficient, and automated processes for large scale data analyses and model development, validation, and implementation
• Manipulates, combines, and refines large datasets to produce information suitable for analysis, including verifying data quality and implementing data quality improvements, as well as feature engineering
• Monitors and analyzes complex systems to understand, diagnose, and continuously improve key performance indicators
• Assists with development and publishing of analytics-ready data to enable the creation of analytics deliverables
• Provides support on all data-related solutions (design, consumption, data feeds, data aggregation, etc.) to business partners and external clients
• Develops algorithms for data analysis and writes computer code to implement them
• Develops experimental design approaches to validate findings or test hypotheses
• Identifies problematic areas, conducts research to determine the best course of action to correct the data, identifies, analyzes and interprets trends and patterns in complex datasets
• Works with client-facing teams to understand client needs and develop solutions to satisfy those needs
• Assists the leadership in process analysis, team building and conflict management activities associated with other team members
• Researches and incorporates best practices into identification of data sources and analysis of information
• Explores the space of analytical opportunities for a given problem and executes with a sound analytical strategy
• Conducts research on industry trends/techniques and available data and partnerships; evaluates the research to recommend changes to existing process and develop new ones

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience.
Preferred Certifications:
• Advanced Data Analytics Certifications
• SAS Statistical Business Analyst Professional Certification
WORK EXPERIENCE:
4+ years of directly-related or relevant experience, preferably in healthcare data analytics or data engineering.
