CommScope is looking to add a Planner to work with our team based in Goa .This role will participate in the material planning of Projects in R&D department, collaborating with RF engineer , Mechanical Engineer , Project Managers and cross functional team to execute project material with the help of the established Supply chain  with Buyer support . This candidate will balance contending objectives to improve Processes, Material LT, cost reduction with Intelligent material planning tactics to reduce the overall Spend in R&D department, additionally also reduce supply chain costs, and optimize working capital.

How You’ll Help Us Connect the World:

• Participate and work as a Project planning lead in R&D project for successful Implementation and production in future.
• Build, maintain, and communicate long lead parts requirement , stocking plan to ensure smooth running of Project in R&D department.
• Collaborate with the following cross-functional teams during Project execution to ensure material availability for project start to completion: Project manager, Mechanical Engineer, Radio frequency Engineer , Buyer , Process Engineer, global and local cross functional operations team suppliers, Product line Managers , sales , Procurement and finance team.
• Analyze and maintain inventory levels as per usage history of the material.
• Partner with Engineering/Sales Project Managers and PLM to support speed-to-market initiatives for NPI activities.
• Lead excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory management activities
• Build reports related to forecast/inventory and operations relevant to current business requirements.
• Take Initiate in Continues Improvement activities and process Improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering OR of equivalent with minimum 5+ years of relevant working experience.
• Hands on Experience in SAP.
• Experience of advance excel for crafting reports.
• Day to day material scheduling experience is preferred.
• Working Experience in Supplier & Internal Stakeholder Collaboration 
• Strong communication skills
• Strong MS office skills.
