As a Senior Workplace Operations Architect in our End User Production Services function, you’ll be working closely with teams of technologists responsible for keeping the business running: the endpoint environment, mobile platforms, collaboration technologies, and more. You will be working with teams across the globe to maximize the integration and efficacy of the technologies that our teams use to give investors the best chance for investment success.  
 
As a Senior Architect supporting Endpoint and Workplace Operations environment, you will be working in a dynamic environment covering industry leading technologies all the way from end user support, to AI/ML, Observability, Automation and cloud infrastructure. Impact you will make: 

• Provide the vision, strategic direction, and initiative roadmap for enterprise-impacting, transformational, technology imperatives. To define the reference and implementation Architectures for enterprise-impacting, transformational, technology imperatives. To persuade and influences senior Business & IT leaders on the architectural direction for enterprise-wide, transformational, technology imperatives. 
• The Endpoint Architect is a highly visible position to serve as part of a team to deliver engineering support services to Vanguard.  
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their mission and vision as well as end-user requirements and needs and translate them into technical requirements. 
• Design, implement, and maintain large-scale infrastructure solutions to support AI and machine learning workloads. 
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards for infrastructure configurations and procedures. 
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our infrastructure. 
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure projects and initiatives. 
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of infrastructure solutions. 

What it takes: 

•  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, preferred but not required. 
• Minimum of 8-10+ years of experience in infrastructure operations/engineering experience, with a focus on endpoint support, Workplace Operations, Observability and Automation.  
• Design, implement, and maintain large-scale infrastructure solutions leveraging AI/ML. 
• Exceptional conceptual thinking and analysis skills, coupled with highly effective presentation, influencing and negotiation skills. 
• Expert conceptual knowledge leveraging architecture practices and implementation concepts. 
• Specific experience in creating, maintaining and enhancing multi-year architecture plans. 
• Demonstrated record of recommending successful architecture technology designs 
• Experience conducting architecture reviews to assess impact of proposed systems and preparation of mitigation plans. 
• Demonstrated coaching skills with other technical team members to further develop their technical skills and competencies. 
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our infrastructure. 
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure projects and initiatives. 
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of infrastructure solutions.
